General Requirements & Logistics

  • Requirements: Group assignment (to be submitted on the Assignment section in MS Teams).
  • Presentation Groups: Register for your presentation slots - Topic names on the class list (MS Teams).
  • Selection Process: Draw lots or assign presentations (depending on the number of registered groups) - notice given at least 01 week in advance.
  • Submission: Submit both the PowerPoint (PP) and Word documents with presentation group.
  • Non-Presenting Groups: Groups not presenting should submit a Word document.
    • Cover page requirements: Group's Name - Topic Name - Group Members' Names - Student IDs.

TOPIC 1: BUSINESS PLAN

Part 1: Introduction

Introduce the group's business idea:

  • Product (service) name.
  • Key characteristics.
  • Target customer demographic and target market.

Part 2: Business Plan Details

Present specific steps of the plan (based on the planning procedure in the Management textbook):

  • Environmental Analysis: Analyze the internal environment (conditions of the business entity) and the external environment.
    • Models to use: SWOT model or M. Porter's 5 Forces model.
  • Forecasting: Forecast future trends.
  • Risk Anticipation: Anticipate potential risks.
  • Feasibility: Utilize experiences or compiled data to demonstrate the feasibility of the plan.

Important Note: Identify a suitable market, aligning the scale of the plan accordingly. It is recommended to keep the scale small to fit the group's circumstances (considering yourselves as a small business entity).

Part 3: Supporting Plans

  • Highlight limitations: Discuss limitations of the business plan (optional, not mandatory).
  • Anticipate potential risks (supporting plan):
    • The supporting plan ensures the success of the main plan, not replacing it (If Part 2 follows the 8 steps of planning, this content is likely covered).
    • Forecast risks and unfavorable factors that may arise during plan implementation, along with coping strategies.
    • Multiple supporting plans may be considered.

1. Introduction:

  • Define leadership and briefly introduce the classification of leadership styles.

2. Leadership Styles:

  • Present various leadership styles and their characteristics.
  • Classify your favorite manager's leadership style.
